Is it possible to limit the ability to view Issue-Types for one specific user-group?

Hi there!

I got usergroups in a project. One of the groups should not see two different Issue-Types at all. Is that possible to achive?

Not directly, permissions are project-level things. (Although there are a few hacks you can use to prevent people raising the "wrong" issue type)

I've done this by setting up

• a security scheme that basically says "only group A can see issue if this security level is used"
• a workflow scheme with two workflows
  • workflow 1 does nothing clever
  • workflow 2 sets the security level field on issue "create"
• the scheme then associates the second workflow with the issues I want to protect
