Is it possible to have a public dashboard if the issues are not public?

I want be to able to share a dashboard to unauthenticated viewer.

I made public the filter used in the gadget and the dashboard, but the issues  referenced by the filter belong to a space that is not public.

If I go to the dashboard without being authenticated, I get an empty dashboard with no gadget.

Is it possible to show a gadget (like a pie chart) if the issues needed to build that chart are not public?

Hi @pcondal

If the underlying issues belong to a non-public project, anonymous users lack Browse Project permission

Even if you make the dashboard and filter public, gadgets like Pie Chart will display only data the viewer can access. In short, it is not possible to achieve this use case, unless you enable "Public" access in the project permission scheme.

@pcondal

You should have a look at the External Share app, which is a purpose-built app for use cases like yours.
