We are currently using JIRA OnDemand and would like to include some links within a dashboard. It appears I cannot enable the text-gadget to accomplish this currently (by default it's deployed disabled but as the JIRA administrator, I do not have the proper access to enable it). Can it be enabled, and if so, how do I go about doing that?

It won't be most probably as Text gadget is a known security risk and it is restricted in OnDemand.

I did read the second article -- thank-you for the first one. I assumed (by the second one) there was a way to make it happen. That's truly disappointing that it cannot be used in the OnDemand solution...
