I made my first Kanban board in ISE Jira today, and I categorized each swim lane by the JQL query: component = "airline" (airline varies in this example). However, some Jira tickets have multiple components and only shows up under one swim lane. Would it be possible to have a Jira ticket with multiple components show up under all of its relevant swim lanes? Right now, the ticket only shows up under one swim lane. I assume this is to reduce redundancy but, in my case, I would prefer this type of redundancy. Thank you in advance!

Hi @Maria Nicole Pugliese,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The short answer is no, you cannot have an issue show up multiple times on a board. The only workaround would be to create clones of the issues that have multiple components and make is so they only have a single component.

Hi @Maria Nicole Pugliese

Trust you are well.

In Advanced Kanban Boards App we overcome this limitation and you will be able to show issues in each and every swimlane it matches. Also moving/updating one of the copies will automatically adjust the rest.

Try it out.

Many thanks & Kind regards,

Yuri.
