Is it possible to automate idea templates?

For example I have a field in our JPD project that is "idea types". We have New Feature, Feature Enhancement, Feature Fix, and then Process Improvement. There is a correlating requirements document for each type, and I would like to automate the creation of use of said template. I know that it would be possible to potentially place the markdown for each template type, but thought that this may be good feedback if it's not currently incorporated into the automations flow.
