Is it possible to assign an email address to a scrum kanban sw project type similar to Service Desk?

I woukd like to have tickets auto generate from email requests sent to an Agile scrum project team. This would be the same setup that is in place for a Service a Service Desk project type. I want to also create an email accou nt to associate with that project (software project type).

If you mean if it is possible to create a email channel for a Jira Software project then it is not possible. You can only create a mail handler.
