hi due to license restrictions we may not be able to assign users full access and want to be able to track though who we have assigned too- is there anyway of doing this?

also are you able to assign additional users to a task?

Hello,

1. If you want to set the Assignee field to a user, then this user must be a Jira User. If you have a look at Jira Service Desk, then there are special users, called Customers. These users do not require a Jira license, but they can work with Jira only through the Jira portal.

2. The assignee field is a single select list. You can set only one user for the Assignee field. But you can always add an additional field (single or multi user picker) to set additional users for an issue.
