Is it possible to assign a label to multiple stories, tasks etc, with one action?

I have created dozens of tasks, and now I am realising that there are labels which I would like to apply in order to categorise them, and to be able to later search for the 'by label'.

I'm sure this is basic, but I'm a relative newbie.

Hi @Andrew Smith,

in Jira this possible by using the bulk action feature. First you have to search for all the issues you want to assign the same labels. Then follow the documentation at Editing multiple issues at the same time. You can also use the bulk edit later to find and remove existing labels or replace them with a different label.

Regarding Confluence there there is no such feature at the moment. However, there are 3rd party customizations (free / paid), that you could give a try. See this post for details or try the free plugin Power Scripts for Confluence.
