Is it okay to increase JQL search index to 2000 or more

We want to do advanced search of 2000 issues and export them to excel. But currently our JIRA (7.4.1) which is hosted on premise is allowing not more than 1000 issues. How to increase this limit and is there any restriction doing it?

Hi Jyoti,

there are two ways to do that:

1. You need modify the URL link to export more than 1000 issues

2. You need modify the configuration file to export more than 1000 issues any time.

Is it safe? I mean, will it hamper the performance of the JIRA or any data corruption or crash..
