We use the ticketing system of Jira to report bugs and possible new features in our own developed ERP system.
Within the company we use different key-users who have the ability to make ticket within the service portal.
Everything works great except the fact that everyone gets every mail the system sends regarding updates about the tickets.
It would great if people only receive mails regarding their own tickets.
Hi @D.heijkoop - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It's probably because they are Watchers on the project. There is a system level setting that makes users a watcher on any issue they interact with. It's best to turn that off.
Go to Settings > System > User Default Settings
Then edit the values to change Autowatch own issues to No.
For all of the existing issues, the user can remove themselves as watchers for the issue. You can also in the short term, change the Notification Scheme used by the project to not send all of those updates to the Watchers.
