I'm trying to switch over to Jira and would like to know if it has some similar capabilities. I'm currently using an application that automatically creates tickets when licenses will expire. For example: we have a client that has multiple licenses for various products ( MO365, AV, Adobe etc.) we have all the licenses in our current software and our system automatically will create a ticket when the license is coming up for renewal within a month, week and/or days timeframe.
So my question is, can Jira do something similiar in the sense that it tracks upcoming renewals and creates tickets for them?
I am afraid to say that JIRA is not that type of Application. In JIRA you will create an issue to track the work that should be done in order to get the new license. Make sure that no one is sitting on their task. 😉
