Is Jira Bitbucket connector for Git repositories already working in new on demand installations?

I have created a new project in my JIRA on-demand installation and followed the steps described in https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Linking+Bitbucket+Activities+to+JIRA+Issues for syncing with my existing git based bitbucket project.

After clicking in the "Force sync" button I can not see the bitbucket tickets in my JIRA project.

Altough the documentation states that "the integration currently only works for Mercurial repositories, not Git ones", the corresponding ticket is closed since 27 October (https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/BBC-97).

Is my recently created JIRA on-demand installation already supporting integration with bitbucket Git repositories?

Hi Javier,

Yes it should be working now. If you're still having trouble seeing commits mentioning a JIRA issue not showing up under that respective issue's "Bitbucket" tab, please file a support ticket and we'll investigate further.

If you could include a link to this Answers question that would be ideal, as we can then post back the solution here for others to benefit.

OK. i see the integration is only used for refencing JIRA tickets in Bitbucket commits. I thought it would import my current Bitbucket tickets into the new JIRA project. I guess I will have to copy them by hand...

Thanks
