Invited client side users Not able to view issues in my JIRA project.

Sankalp Menon September 8, 2022

i'm trying to add a few client side team members to a project in JIRA. Once added, the project is visible in their account, but the issues and board is not visible. When they click on all issues, they see this error ->

The value 'XXX' does not exist for the field 'project'.

Hello @Sankalp Menon

Are these for Company Managed or Team Managed projects?

Have you granted the individuals any permissions directly to the project?

Board visibility can depend on product access. Are the users granted product access for Jira Software?

Board visibility for Company Managed projects may also be affected by the people with whom the Filter Query for the board has been shared. Are the users members of a group or project role with whom the board Filter Query has been shared?

Has issue security been implemented in the project?

It's a Company managed Project.

I invited them from Project Settings >> People >> Add people.

They received the invite and were able to see the project. But not able to browse through any issues.

I have now created a new scheme and assigned the scheme to a group under that project, the issue seems to be resolved for now.

Thanks again.
