I don't want to invite everyone individually to a project, instead via the group. According to Jira it should be possible, but it doesn't work for me. When adding members, no groups are suggested. Can anyone help me with that?
Hello @Eduard Maul
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
Can you tell provide a link to the document where it says you can invite groups?
Can you provide a screen image of what you see when trying to invite roups?
Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?
Hi @Trudy Claspill, Thanks for your response.
Add users to your project | Jira Work Management Cloud | Atlassian Support
It says "You can add multiple people and groups, and delete those you have accidentally added in this dialog." under point 3.
Otherwise I use the Team Managed project, would it change anything if I used the Company Managed project?
A screenshot might not show much here, because the groups don't appear in the selection, only individual users.

The article you referenced is for Company Managed projects.
The link for the comparable document for Team Managed projects is contained in the blue Info note that mentions "check out Add people to next-gen projects."
Do you have the Global Permission for "Browse Users and Groups"?
Can you confirm that you have user groups defined for your site/product?
