Integrate JIRA Software (Hosted Own Server) with GitHub Enterprise Cloud

We are trying to integrate our GitHub Enterprise Cloud Org with JIRA Software Server.

We were asked to follow below guide:

1. It's a 2018 document. Is it still applicable?

2. For the above integration via IRA DVCS connector, there should be an account which has GitHub Enterprise Cloud Org Ownership as well as JIRA Administrator permission. And there is no way to limit the visibility of the repos (for an example limit the integration only for a set of repos pertaining to a GitHub Team) as the GitHub Org Owner can see all repos. Is there an alternative to limit the visibility/integration of the repos in the GitHub organization?

3. There is a better way to integrate with GitHub App (without using human/service account), but it does not support GitHub.com Enterprise Cloud with JIRA Software Server. Reference: https://github.com/atlassian/github-for-jira/blob/master/README.md#questions-need-help. Anyone knows when this app would support GitHub Enterprise Cloud + JIRA Software?
