Install JIRA 4.4 and Migrate to different server at the same time

Is it possible to install JIRA 4.4 and migrate from our evaluation server (running 4.3.2) and SQL Server 2005 database to a different server at the same time? If so, please point me to the documentation.

Specifically, can I install 4.4 on the new (production) server and copy the data and prlugins from the old (evaluation) server and database into a new database on a different SQL Server instance at the same time, or must I first upgrade the 4.3.2 to 4.4, and then migrate the data and plugins to the new instance?

I would export the data from your 4.3.2 server (via XML backup) and then get a copy of 4.4 up and running on the new server. Do any setup, customizations, install any plugins you used in 4.3.2 (provided they are compatible with 4.4) and then import the data via the setup wizard in 4.4.

Here's some documentation to get you started:
