Initials for tagging?

When I @Tag people in an issue, I wonder whether it's possible to get the system to look for user initials..? There are several persons with the same name in my organization and it is not uncommon that I have to do something extra to select the person that I want from the short-list. If only I had the possibility to tag by user unique initials, that would be great! For that same reason, I have my initials in my public name.. Just doesn't feel quite right.

I don't think you can do that. I try to get everyone to complete their account info. with their full name (first and last) and suggest they use the nickname field as well.

I can see Name and Public name. I guess you mean Public name..?
