I'm trying to pull the Epic Burndown report for a few of my epics, but getting different errors.
My first epic has 12 issues in the current active sprint that are still incomplete. The incomplete issues are showing up at the bottom of the report in the grid area, but the chart area is telling me that the sprint has no issues/points and that all estimated issues are done. I have 52 points of incomplete issues in the list part of the report. How can I get these to display in the chart? The chart is showing bars for all the previous sprints where work was done on this epic.
My second epic is displaying data for the active sprint, but the numbers are wrong. The bottom grid says I have 19 points incomplete, but only 10 are displaying in the chart at the top. There are 26 points tied to this epic, as 7 were completed previously, but the number at the top is saying "7 of 17 completed".
Am I misunderstanding how this report works? I read the epic burndown guidance, and I don't see anything that I've done in the setup that would cause the report to act this way.
Edit; I know the info says Cloud, but I'm using Server for this request.
This is how the report works:

If this doesn't clarify how your reports are acting, could you provide screenshots of these two Epics' reports showing the errors - to help us analyse? :)

Hi @Ste Wright ,
Thanks so much for your response.
In response to your questions:
Unfortunately I am not able to access my board at this time, but I do believe everything is set up correctly, as the bottom list part of the report seems to be correct, and all of my previous (closed) sprints are displaying correctly. However, there is no information displaying in the chart itself for the current active sprint (which I have 52 points in), and it's telling me that it's all completed in the forecast area, when clearly the rest of the report is saying that it isn't. The version report, on the other hand, seems to be displaying the remaining issues correctly, but I've been asked to break it down by epic.

I am having the same issue and struggling to understand why the report says there are incomplete issues at the bottom but the message where the forecast sits says all issues are done.

oohhh, I have figured out why my chart displays a message saying "All estimated issues are done!" while still having at the bottom of the report 13 story points listed under incomplete issues.
The team's velocity is at 65 story points per sprint, assuming the 13 story point ticket is scheduled and completed in the current sprint, there is no more work to schedule and therefore "All estimated issues are done!"
This is a messaging issue - The wording should say something along the lines of "All estimated issues can be completed within current sprint. No more work will be left based on current team velocity!"

Out of curiosity, are all your remaining uncompleted issues for the epic in your current sprint?

Yes, all the remaining incompleted issues for the epic are in the current sprint.
I did an experiment in a test project yesterday by removing one of the ticket out of the current sprint. The report didn't update instantly but today I can see it's now saying I have 1 more sprint remaining in the forecast message box. I've just added the ticket back into the current sprint. Will let you know tomorrow if the report is updated to say all remaining work is complete as your suspicion is completely valid, the scheduling of the remaining incomplete tickets could play a part in it.
