Include new category in projects

Hi. I want to include a new category column to have more options to filter my projects. Example: customer, status, business area, etc. I have an administrator role. Thanks

The projects already have a category field, as you can see in the screenshot.

Jira does not support other project-level fields, you'll need to use an app to enable the ability to add more.  I've always used Projectrak to do that when people have had a need for project fields.

you can setup project categories at your convenience and link to your projects (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-assign-and-delete-project-categories/).
