In the summary tab there is a status overview. This changes although nothing changed on the issues

In the summary tab is a status overview. A pie chart showing all the work per status.

We have noticed that e.g. the work items in status CLOSURE are decreasing although nothing was changed to the issues within the project (we checked using update date)

How is it possible that the amount of CLOSURE defects is decreasing in the pie chart when nothing changed?
