In the new Jira issue view, how can I use markdown in the "Acceptance Criteria" field?

In the new Jira issue view I cannot set up the acceptance criteria field to allow for bullets or numbered lists. Currently it is stuck with only plain text formatting. I have updated the renderer to "Wiki Style Renderer", and the View Field Configuration page is showing that it should be wiki style. 

How can I use bullets and numbered lists in fields other than the Description? The Description field is working fine for this but all other fields that are set to the Wiki Style Renderer are just displaying in plain text with no formatting.

Hello Sara,

We have identified that the Markdown is not working for Custom Fields in the new issue view. Even if you configure the Wiki Style renderer, it still using the Default text renderer.

That been said, we reported this behavior as a bug to our development team:

- Wiki Style Renderer does not work for custom fields

Feel free to watch the bug to receive any notifications about its fix implementation.

For now, we recommend you to use the Old issue view while our developers work on a fix. To turn off the new issue view, click on your profile page > Personal Settings > Turn off the labs feature.
