In the backlog view of a scrum board, there's an estimate in the bottom right hand corner of each sprint. After loading the sprints, the bottom right hand estimate is incorrect. For example, it will show that there are 46 story points in the sprint, but actually there are 48 story points. The same happens with the other sprints as well. One says 35 story points but there are 50 story points.
Here is a screenshot of one sprint, but the issue occurs in all future sprints (we have 6 sprints for each PI). For active sprints, the bottom right hand estimate is not displayed.
Why is the bottom estimate incorrect? How can I fix this issue?
Hi @Renée Hill ,
Which item types are you using here? If there are some custom ones, can you check which hierarchy levels are each?
I've noticed that the bottom part includes sub-tasks as well, while the top number (next to "Start sprint" button) includes only level 0 items.
That being said, I didn't manage to get that 'upper' number is higher than the 'bottom' one. 👀
I'm usually not playing with estimates that often, but I know I had some 'issues' related to numbers of items displayed in the backlog.
Cheers,
Tobi
