When I m logging my Hours it is saying TimeSheet status must be open for the period Whereas My Manager tell me all timeSheets are open for all status.
Why i m getting this error. Please resolve it as earlier connivence.
Thanks
Hi @abeera_iqbal,
Tempo uses a weekly or monthly timesheet cycle behind the scenes with corresponding approval. These cycles are called periods. When a period ends, users are expected to submit their timesheet for approval. Both timesheets and periods can be closed, thus locking the hours logged in them. If your timesheet is not submitted or approved, then it is very likely that you are trying to log hours on a period that is closed.
In that case, a Jira or Tempo administrator will have to unlock that period again. You'll have to reach out to your organisation's Jira admins to do so.
Hope this helps!
I am currently logging my hours in current Period .It gives me error.
I asked my Manager to open the period. He says all TimeSheets are all open for all status. It means it is not closed.then Why I m getting this?

What your manager says is just what he/she thinks it is. I would not assume he/she has full knowledge about the way Tempo configuration works. The only conclusion I would draw from that statement is that he/she does not see anything wrong.
I am not working for Atlassian, not Tempo and can't access your site, so I can only tell you possible causes and steps you could take to come to the proper conclusion. So, the things below may help you find out what's wrong:
The first 2 are things you should be able to check yourself. For the last one, you need a Jira/Tempo administrator.
Finally - but given the error message not very likely - logging time against Jira issues can be restricted in many ways too. But I would focus on the options above first.
