Importing tickets to Jira

Our company currently uses GrooveHQ to manage our tickets. We would to like to move to Jira, so we can integrate with the developers. I was wondering if there is a way we can export existing tickets from Groove HQ to Jira. Any advise or suggestion would be of great help!! Thanks in advance!!

What formats can you export GrooveHQ data into?

Does it have an API you could use to scrape data out of and then poke it into Jira over REST?
