Important Messages on the board

Hell All,

we are just starting to use JIRA and were wondering if there is a way to post messages that would be visible for all the team members who have access to the board? e.g. quality system down or messages about important upcoming events?

You can use the announcement banner to post messages, see Configuring an announcement banner. There are also apps on the Marketplace that can be used for this.
