Hello,

I have an export from Jira cloud dated as below, and I'm having an issue which I assume is related to the Jira version that I'm now trying to import to:

     Version : 1000.892.2
     Build # : 100040
     Build Date : Wed Apr 12 00:00:00 BST 2017

Error: There was a problem parsing the backup XML file at C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\import\jira_export_20170414_142558.zip: No 'key' field for Issue 24100.

I'm currently trying to import into Jira server 7.4.4

Should I be trying to import to an older version of Jira server? If so how do I find out which Jira server version corresponds to my Jira cloud backup?

JIRA Server and Cloud do not have corresponding versions.  For any Cloud export, the best bet is the latest version of Server.  If you've got an old export like you have then go for the latest version that was available on the date of export - see https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/update
