When the Service Desk receives an email with an embedded image it becomes an attachment. So do all the images that may be in their Outlook signature file. Therefore any workarounds I have read about ignoring image001.png. image002.png, and so on; do not work.
Is there a way for the email sent in to create a ticket just to look like the original email? The images and signature should just be appearing the way they were when the customer sent the request from their Outlook. Why is it ALL or NOTHING regarding attachments?
I just want to see the email in its original state when it was sent, in JIRA SD.
Can this be achieved?

Do you have a solution for this? I am experiencing the same issue and am not seeing a way around it. I also noticed that when there are a few responses back and forth, the same images continually get attached, some tickets have 20 attachments from this!
