Im new to jira cant find a create project option

i made sure i have the admin permissions, what could be the problem for that

Hello @chaitanya 

On the left side of your navigation bar, first make sure that Spaces are turned on. If they are not showing, go to Customize navigation bar and add Spaces. Projects are now renamed to Spaces in Jira. You will also see the plus icon next to the Spaces option. If you do not see the plus icon that means that your Jira admin has disabled the creation of team-managed projects.
