If I delete a Jira project, does it delete the associated Confluence Space?

My Next Gen projects have Confluence spaces with important info in them that I don't want to lose.

We've decided to use Advanced Roadmap, which means that we have to move all our tasks into new Classic projects, and then we're going delete the empty Next Gen projects.

We don't want to lose the original Confluence spaces that were associated with those Next Gen projects, because they still contain all the relevant info that will now apply to the new Classic projects.

Hence my question, if I delete a Jira project, does it delete the associated Confluence space?

Delete Jira project will not affect the linked space in Confluence, but it may have an impact on the content display of some pages which is depending on the information source of the page, for example

• Issues links from jira
• JIRA Issue/Filter Macro
• JIRA Chart Macro
• Jira roadmap Macro
