After we added an IP address located in China, "222.92.13x.xxx", we found user is able to access our cloud by different China IPs. Is this a system bug? or we have done the procedure wrong? thanks.

Hi Jim,

that sounds unpleasant but strange as well.

Did I get you right you entered a valid IP and the "x.xxx" here are only in Community - for anonymizing purposes?

Are the IPs that are now able to access from the same subnet (or at least similar to the one you allowlisted)?

Could you maybe share the steps you took for allowlisting (or share a screenshot)? Please do nor forget to anonymize personal information if you want to share the information with us.

Basically there is nothing known in that direction which cause that kind of effect - I assume you followed the IP allowlisting article?

Cheers,
Daniel
