I would like to move a kanban board from one project to another

I would like to use the same set up, including the swim lanes from a Kanban board for 4 other projects. Is there a way to copy a Kanban board from one project to another and then just edit the filter to align the new project?

Hi Jane! Yes this is possible. 

You have to navigate to the ALL BOARDS view,

https://yourinstancename/jira/boards

Find your board, then copy it from the ... menu on the right.

Then go into that newly created board, change the location to the new project and update the filter.

@Garrett McCreery    We use JIRA Server. I am not sure if that makes a difference or not but I do not see the Location field in my view so I cannot update it.
