I want to show only Status of Workflow in 'Edit Issue Screen'.

Hi,

I have created a workflow along with Status and Transition.

Now, on 'Edit Issue Screen',  there are Status and Transition. But I want to show only Status (and control status as if issue is in status of 'IN PROGRESS', next status should be 'DONE').

I've attached screenshot of Workflow and Edit Issue Screen.

Please help me to fix it.

Can you please confirm if you are using JIRA Server or Cloud?

I understood that you would like to remove the transitions To Do and Picked for Development from the edit screen and change the status directly, clicking in the status and selecting the next one in a  drop-down. Have I understood it properly?

If that's the case, I'm afraid it is not possible to customize it, however, JIRA Cloud has a new issue view which displays the Status as a drop-down field, removing the Transitions as you want.

If you are using JIRA Cloud, click on your profile picture > Personal Settings > enable the new issue view and check if that's the options you were looking for.
