I want to have "time spend" field in the task but keep it none mandatory

Hi,

In Jira settings the time tracking is enabled. The issue what I`m dealing with is when people creating a task they are required to enter time spend. Later on when developers work on the task they should be able to enter time send.

I want to keep time spend field in the task but I want to make it none mandatory. Is it possible to do that?

OK so i find out that I had to look for "LOG WORK' field and make it optional. When I make it optional then "time spend" field will be optional as well. Case closed.

You can set the Time Tracking field in the field scenario to be Optional

Hi, I`m a bit confused.:

• In settings > Issue Features > field Time tracking is enabled;
• In settings >  Issues > Field Configuration > field Time Tracking is optional in all field configuration templates

As I want to create a BUG the field Time spend is mandatory. What else should I check?
