We did something similar.. we have a project (epic) with tasks and subtasks that we use over and over again. I created a rule that said when issue goes from start to ready to work, create these tasks.. in your automation create all the tasks and or subtasks.. then the next epic it will auto create all the tasks

Hi @Derick and welcome to the community!
If you want a more streamlined way to clone epics along with all their subtasks and associated data, you might want to explore our app Deep Clone for Jira. Deep Clone allows you to clone entire epics with their subtasks, including custom fields, attachments, and comments, making it easier to replicate complex issue structures in Jira.

Hello @Derick
If you're seeking for an easier way to clone epics with all their subtasks, you can try our app Elements Copy & Sync that allows you to clone and sync a full hierarchy of issues with all their content (summary, description, custom fields, comments, attachments, etc).
You can check our guide here.
The app is for free during 30 days (and it stays free under 10 users).

@Clara Belin-Brosseau_Elements, Thank you! I understand. Automating the entire process is often the ideal, but if you find it's truly impossible, then exploring other solutions like this app is a great alternative.
