I want to be able to search for a file name in a description box. How do you do that?

My manager wants to know if a Jira was created for this file.

Files:
MAGFLMDPI18_extract_201805010746.txt

I was hoping that I could just search on the file name and the Jira which references it would appear.  But nothing happens.  Not even a "not found" msg.  Makes me wonder, what is the "search" searching when I enter text?
