I tried converting a story containing multiple sub tasks into epic and all the subtasks vanished after conversion. I set all checkboxes to true before moving

What steps did you use to convert the story to an Epic?

Is the issue in a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project? When viewing the project look at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left for that information.
