I need to put condition to post functions, is it possible?

Hi everyone,

We have a kanban board and we're tracking here multiple teams together. And I want to set a specific assignee to tasks after setting up a new state but I need to check certain tags that are properly set.

Example: 

Task 1 has a tag DEV and when transitioning to status "In progress" I want to set assignee John.

Task 2 has a tag BUS and when transitioning to status "In progress" I dont want to set the assignee to John but need to set to James. 

Could anyone help me, please?

You would need an addon for such. Look at Scriptrunner, automation for jira, powerscripts, etc.

Thanks, I was afraid that someone would wrote this :) we have a special policy about addons, etc. at our comp. But thanks for your help.
