Hello @José Armando Acosta Vargas

It looks like the post may have gone out before you finished writing it.

A bit more detail would help here. What exactly are you trying to do, what part do you want to automate, and how are you bringing the data into Assets. manually or through some connector?

Once that is clearer, it will be much easier to give you a proper answer.

Hi @José Armando Acosta Vargas

Automating Assets in Jira Service Management allows you to keep your asset inventory up to date without manual work. Here are the main approaches:

  1. Jira Automation Rules – You can create rules that automatically create, update, or link Assets objects when Jira issues are created or updated. For example: when a "New Hardware Request" ticket is resolved, automatically create an Asset object for the new device.
  2. Assets Import (CSV/REST API) – If you manage assets in a spreadsheet or external system, you can schedule regular imports via CSV or use the Assets REST API to sync data automatically.
  3. Assets Discovery (Premium/Enterprise) – Automatically discovers and imports IT assets from your network.

A good starting point is Atlassian's official Assets documentation
