×I want Jira to automatically generate a report at a scheduled time and send it to all the members of my team.
Instead of manually creating and sharing the report each time, I need an automated process where Jira pulls the required data (from a dashboard or filter) and emails it directly to the team distribution list or individual team members.
Hey @Ramya
First, welcome to Atlassian community :)
It is a common need for many teams. You can try ‘Filter’ subscriptions for sure. But, if you want more detailed reports, custom calendars, use your automated reports as a warning system, and also deliver them with Slack, email, and MS Teams, you can also try Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira.
Timepiece can automatically generate reports on a schedule you define (hours, days, or weeks, etc.).
You didn’t mention what types of reports you desire to automate, but with Timepiece, you can automate a variety of reports, including Time in Status, Assignee Time, Group Time, Status Count, and Date Reports. This allows you to measure and track key metrics like Cycle Time, Lead Time, and Resolution Time.
Also, the 'Alarms' function is a great way to turn your reports into an early warning system. You can configure it to send a notification only if a specific condition is met. For example, if a work item has been In Progress for longer than 5 days. So, Timepiece will keep generating reports, but only send you the report if you need to jump in.
This helps your team quickly spot and address bottlenecks without having to manually check for them.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Ramya ,
Good day! Welcome to Atlassian community :)
You can use Filter subscriptions.
Steps:
Create and save a filter (e.g., “All issues updated this week”)
Go to All filter's section: https://yoursite.atlassian.net/jira/filters
Click the name of your saved filter -> Filter Details
Click Add Subscription
Configure:
Recipients: Individual users or Jira groups
Schedule: Daily, weekly, etc.
Time: When the email should go out
Thank you!
