I make a wrong adress in the from adress field in the smtp configuration

hello team 

I configured my smtp as shown and it work fine , but i do not understand what's the role of the (from adress) that i make  a wrong adress not equal of the username bellow , and its work fine ?? why ? it's not important ?

Hello,

This address will be seen in the mail, which your users will receive from Jira. Not all smtp servers let you send a letter from a different email address, from which you connected, but some let you do it. It depends on the configuration of the smtp server.

@Alexey Matveev   I understand that , but I like to understand the diefference between the two mail address in the pictures . They are different . So what s the difference ?

The first email is put in the From field of the email. The second email is used for connection to the smtp server.
