There are, technically, but they're way past what you'd find useful as a user (tens of thousands of estimates on one issue probably isn't that useful in real life)

All I am trying to do is put a time estimate against a task. So I create a story and a bunch of tasks with estimates. That's what I am not able to do. I want to be able to track the time. I can put story points in and that's great but how do I put estimates on tasks? Are you able to help with that?

Thanks so much!

Oh, you don't mean limits, you mean you can't do it.

As an admin

  • check time tracking is enabled (it is by default, but sometimes people turn it off while they're experimenting
  • look at the project configuration for
  • Screens - is "time tracking" on the screen the issue type is using for "create issue"?
  • Field configuration - is "time tracking" visible, not "hidden" (defaults are for all fields to be visible)?
