I have created a dashboard, using the filter gadget, where i chose few fields to be displayed like Key, Summary, Assignee & Comments for the "Epics". Getting data in all fields Except "Comments".

could anyone pls help why I am not getting comments data in the dashboard? although they are many comments are being mentioned in most of the epics that i have picked in the dashboard.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What gadget are you using in the dashboard? The gadgets that are natively available with Jira don't support display of all the comments associated with an issue.

Can you provide a screen image that shows the gadget configuration?

It is possible that an administrator has created a separate custom field named "Comments" where that field is not actually used in your issues. If your gadget configuration is actually referencing such a custom field that could explain why there is no data.
