  • There are couple of project where we have applied a workflow scheme to a project, which is being shared by other projects as well
  • When we are trying to update the new workflow for those project we are not able to do so.
  • Add Workflow option is disabled for those projects.
  • Only Switch scheme is showing up, and we are wondering if we applying new scheme to this scheme will impact other projects and also stories or different issues which are there under this project. Do we also need to do any sort of re-indexing?
  • Also, if we need to revert back to the original state is there an option to do so

To change the workflows in use, yes apply a new scheme.  This will only affect the project to which you are applying the new scheme, and part of the process is that Jira will re-index for you.  There is no "revert" in Jira, but if you do apply the wrong scheme or change your mind, migration back is just re-applying the old scheme.
