I setup an Organization for our company that has JIRA and Confluence. But I removed my access to JIRA since I don't need it. I only need to access the org admin site.
This has somehow removed my access to the org admin as well. Now no one has access to our org admin site. It just ask to create a new organization.
Could someone at Atlassian help with this?
Do you really need to have access to Jira and/or Confluence to have access to the org admin site?
Hello @Rami Lehti,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
When it comes to organizations, it’s not possible to leave them without any administrators.
I see that there is only one org admin, so I wonder if you were using another account when you removed yourself from the site.
With the account you are using here in the community, I can see that you are only the main billing and technical contact, you are not a user of the site, so when you removed you main account, you completely removed from the site and not just removed the license of Jira from your profile.
Since the community is public, I won’t post any private information, but I will share some details that hopefully will help you identify the account that you must use to log in to the organization and add your account back.
rxxx@bxxxxxx.fx
The account above is the only site admin and org admin of the site.
If you do have access to that account, please use an incognito window just to make sure that you will be redirected to log in with the correct account, just to prevent some conflict between the accounts.
After that, invite your main account back and add the group site-admins, jira-adminstrators, and administrators to your profile.
For the Org admin permissions, you need to access admin.atlassian.com > Select the organization > Settings > Administrators.
All of the steps above you need to follow using the account I mentioned (rxxx@bxxxxxx.fx).
Kind regards,
Angélica
Thanks, found the person responsible for the account.
