Today i needed to change a users email address to an external one (not from our organization).
When i tried nothing happened. Attlasian sent an email to this user to apply said changes but it wasn't working. Looking for solutions, i came up to what is called Managed Users and how this would let me change that info.
I followed the steps to verify our domain but now i cant find the option to change someone's email address. I'm also getting an "unauthorized" error when trying to manage application (jira Soft, Service, Conf) access with users. When I'm the site admin.
Help with this issues would be greatly appreciated.
Hello @guido spiritoso
Sorry to hear you are facing some problems with Jira Application.
Once you verified your domain, you can follow the steps below to properly edit the e-mail of a managed account:
From the Email address field, enter the updated email address and click the checkmark.
We’ll email the user to verify the change. Until then, you’ll continue to manage this account with the original email address.
If the email address has a domain you haven’t verified, we’ll remove this account from your organization. Any Atlassian Access security policies will no longer apply after the user verifies the change.
For more details about the steps provided, you can check the documentation below:

About this sentence:
I'm also getting an "unauthorized" error when trying to manage application (jira Soft, Service, Conf) access with users. When I'm the site admin.
Try to log-off and log back in using the incognito mode of your browser, making sure you are not facing a cache problem. If that didn't work, can you please provide us what is the URL you are trying to access exactly?
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you Petter for the reply. That is exactly what i was trying to do. But i'm not seeing the option to change it. This is what i see:
Could there be a problem with my account? Maybe not being SITE ADMIN? Or that we synced with G suite and that requires a different method of managing users?
This is my user:
I'll be trying the "Unauthorized" bit later when i get to my PC.
