I cannot connect ATLASSIAN Jira using Visual studio extension

Currently I cannot connect Visual Studio Atlassian Jira plugin to my Jira account.  I get below error every time when attempting.

I was able to resolve I think by enabling HTTPS tunneling through proxy in the Atlassian settings.

The image is quite clear; it indicates that an intermediary service (for example, a proxy, API gateway, or middleware) has been unable to obtain a valid response from the Jira server. Check the following:

1. Jira may be temporarily down; for this, it's a good idea to check the Atlassian status page.

2. There may also be server overload or maintenance.

3. Also, verify that the API token is not expired, misconfigured, or revoked

4. Check firewall restrictions and verify that you can access Jira from your environment.
