I cannot add label in jiira .

as I can't see any "old view edit message" to add label. Please help

I have created few epics, added stories and created sub-tasks in Jira. I'm able to add and delete labels though. So, if you could let us know few more details, I can be more precise with an answer or solution.

When you initially create a "project" in Jira, you "create epics and stories". 

Project>> Epic>> story (have option to add labels)>>sub task (have option to add labels).
