I can't start and stop sprints despite having manage sprint and admin permissions.

I've got pretty much every permission you can imagine and still I don't have ability to start or stop a sprint.

Are you including issues from more than one project? Check the board filter. You need to have permissions from EVERY project that is included in the filter, even if there aren't any issues from another project
