I can't enter the space I was invited to.

I can receive the invitation email successfully.

However, when I click the "Accept invite" button in the email, I'm redirected to https://id.atlassian.com/signup/verify-email/..., where I'm asked to enter a verification code sent to my email address.

After I enter the verification code and complete the account verification (multiple times), I'm taken to the Atlassian homepage, but I still don't have access to the space that my manager invited me to.

The verification email displays the following message:

"Enter this verification code to continue setting up your Atlassian account. This code will expire in 10 minutes."

Hi Chen,

This usually means the Atlassian account verification was completed, but the invitation itself was not accepted or was no longer linked correctly after the redirect.

Please try the following:

  1. Try using an incognito/private browser window, or clear Atlassian cookies and retry.

  2. If it still redirects you to the Atlassian homepage without access, ask your manager or site admin to remove the pending invitation and send a new one.

If the issue continues after a new invitation, the site admin may need to check whether your account is already created but not added to the correct space or product group.

Hello @Chen Shu 

Another good admin check is the Jira Permission Helper (Jira settings → System → Admin helper).

Have the admin test your user against a specific issue key for the "Browse projects" permission; it will show exactly which group or role is missing. If your user doesn't even show up in the helper, the admin needs to go back to the User Directory to fix your core product access problem. That will just help to narrow it a little, then blind Troubleshoot.
