Hi Jacky,

The ability to delete issues (including Epics) in Jira is controlled by the "Delete Issues" permission in your project's Permission Scheme. This isn't something you can enable yourself — it requires a Jira Admin or Project Admin to grant it.

Here's what to do:

Ask Your Jira Admin To:
Go to Project Settings → Permissions (or Settings → Issues → Permission Schemes at the global level)

Find the "Delete Issues" permission in the scheme

Add your user, group, or project role to that permission.
